Instilling an appreciation and love of music as well as a comprehensive grasp of technique is first and foremost in the Hearts’ Home Acoustics lesson plan. Instructors have an extensive background in music that has been honed through years of musical education and participation in various musical groups and accompaniment. Guitar lessons are brought to you by Chaney Rutherford. With a background in many guitar styles including: classical, bluegrass, western swing, fingerstyle, and praise and worship. Amy Rutherford is a violin, voice and harp instructor who has received a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from Louisiana Baptist University. Beginning music instruction at the age of 15, teaching has become a passion. For piano lessons visit Andrea Salter; with ten years of classical instruction she has been involved in music for the majority of her life in Boerne, TX. Flute lessons are also available via Myra Sabine who has a Bachelor’s Degree obtained from Duquesne University in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. With training received from renowned flutists hailing from the New York Philharmonic to the Pittsburg Symphony; you will receive a thorough and fulfilling learning experience. Hearts' Home Acoustics guitar shop in Boerne is sponsoring a benefit concert for Dian and Mark Piper on Saturday, March 2, 2013 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. The concert will be held on the store grounds and will feature musicians from San Antonio and the Texas Hill Country, including performances by the Tennessee Valley Authority bluegrass band, the Exit 505 band out of New Braunfels, and local acoustic guitar ace Keith Kimbell. A suggested donation of $20 can be contributed at the door....
